Description
SR-15099 (other names: 5,6-dichloro Desmethylbrorphine, SR 2.0, SR-15) is an atypical opioid drug, a derivative of SR-17018 and brorphine, with similar effects.
This drug was first described in the scientific literature by Laura M. Bon and her colleagues in 2017.
Chemistry
SR-15099 is an analog of SR-17018 and has a related chemical structure, with the difference in the chlorine atom on the benzyl ring replaced by a bromine atom.
Pharmacology
Studies in mice have shown that SR-15099 is a partial biased agonist of the μ-opioid receptor (MOR) and has similar effects to SR-17018: it acts as a strong analgesic, relaxing effect and does not cause respiratory depression or hyperlocation.
Legality
The legal status is unclear. SR-15099 is an analog of brorphine and SR-17018.
